Five ways in

Start from whatever you already have

Process knowledge turns up in whatever shape it happens to be in: a call that already happened, a half-accurate doc, a click path, or something only one person knows. Sendabrief takes all five shapes and returns the same structured SOP.

They all end up in one place

Whichever way an SOP starts, it hits the same pipeline: the same draft editor, the same duplicate detection against your existing library, the same approval gate before it goes live, and the same scheduled re-verification so it does not quietly go stale. That is the point of having five ways in rather than five separate tools.

Questions

Which method should I use?

Start from whatever you already have. If the process is a software walkthrough, record your screen. If it only exists in someone's head, have them describe it out loud. If there is an old document that half-covers it, upload that. If it was explained on a call, bring the transcript. If you already know exactly what it should say, write it by hand.

Do all five methods produce the same kind of SOP?

Yes. Every method lands in the same draft editor and produces the same structure: a trigger, numbered steps with roles, and if/then decision branches. They all pass through the same duplicate detection and approval gate into one searchable library.

Are all five available on the free plan?

Yes, including the screen recording extension. The free plan limits how many SOPs you can save (5 in total), not which methods you can use, and scheduled review cycles are included on it too.

Can I combine several sources into one SOP?

Not automatically. Each source produces its own draft. If you need one procedure assembled from several sources, extract them separately and consolidate in the editor.
