1. Who We Are

Sendabrief ("we", "us", "our") operates the sendabrief.com service. Contact us at support@sendabrief.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data: email address and password (hashed) when you sign up
• Content data: transcripts, notes, and chat exports you submit, and the SOPs we generate from them
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session metadata
• Billing data: subscription status handled by Paddle (we do not store card numbers)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service
• To authenticate your account and protect against fraud
• To process payments via our billing partner, Paddle
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To respond to support requests

We do not use your submitted content to train AI models, sell your data, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Processing

Content you submit is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate SOPs. Anthropic's API usage policies apply. We do not use your content beyond generating the requested output.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Workspace data is isolated by row-level security. Only you and your authorised team members can access your SOPs.

6. Third-Party Services

• Supabase: database and authentication
• Anthropic: AI text generation
• Paddle: payment processing and merchant of record
• Vercel: hosting and edge delivery

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your SOP data (PDF or plain text)

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
