Reach for this when
- Software walkthroughs where the exact screen and button matter

- Processes that are easier to do than to describe
Where this is not the right fit
- Browser only. A process that runs in desktop software will not be captured, and Scribe or Tango handle that case better
- Screenshots capture what was clicked, not text you typed into fields
- You have to actually run the process once, so it is not the right tool for documenting something you cannot currently perform
Questions
Does it record video?
No. It captures one still screenshot per click and annotates it, which is why the result is a document you can skim, edit, and translate rather than a recording someone has to watch.
Is my data safe if the screen shows customer information?
Emails, phone numbers, card numbers, and social security or national insurance numbers are detected and blacked out in your browser, before the screenshot is uploaded. The redaction happens locally, not on our servers.
Do I need to pay for the extension?

What if I say something wrong while narrating?
Narration is cleaned up before it is attached, with filler words and false starts removed, and every step stays editable afterwards.
